As part of Arts Week, the Lower School enjoyed a day at the Design Museum in Kensington High Street in London. The sun shone brightly as the year 7, 8 and 9s took part in the Designer Maker User workshop which is the companion to the Design Museum’s permanent gallery.
Using refreshed handling collections of contemporary design objects, students were able to interact with key designs through experiential learning. The workshop supported students to gain new perspectives on the role of designers and the impact of design in everyday life.
